Willow Creek M.D. takes forth at Southern Alberta Summer Games

The Municipal District of Willow Creek team finished fourth at the most recent Southern Alberta Summer games.
The team, made up of competitors from Claresholm, Stavely, Granum, Nanton, Fort Macleod and the surrounding area travelled to the County of 40 Mile for the games which were held from July 8 to 11.
Willow Creek ended up with 39 gold medals, 43 silver medals and 34 bronze medals for a total of 116 medals to take fifth.
The City of Lethbridge was first with 292 medals; County of Forty Mile was second with 205 medals; Lethbridge County was third with 190 medals; and the M.D. of Taber was fourth with 162 medals.

The M.D. of Willow Creek won 19 gold medals, 28 silver medals, and 15 bronze medals for a total of 62 medals.
