Taking the plunge

Claresholm Recreation hosted “The Plunge” on Thursday, Oct. 1. It was a cold-water swim, as the pool has been filled but not yet warmed. Normally swimmers swim in water that is 26 degrees Celsius, but on Thursday the water was 16 to 17 degrees. Entrants could swim 10, 25 or 50 metres with all proceeds going to KidSport Claresholm.
