Willow Creek Composite High School celebrated pride in performance with their annual awards last week.
At an event at the school on June 11, Jessica Mackin was named the female athlete of the year, and Syler Sabey and Briggs Baker tied for male athlete of the year.
Maya Sabey was the honourable mention female athlete of the year.
Huxley Thom was the junior high female athlete of the year, and Laiken Sabey was the junior high male athlete of the year.
Gia Sabey and McKenna Sears tied for the junior high honourable mention female athlete of the year, while William Leishman was the junior high honourable mention male athlete of the year.

Student leadership
• Kael Smith, voice of leadership;

Cross-country running
• Kobe Zhong, grit award;
• Rylen Guitton, pacesetter;

• Briggs Baker, golfer of the year.

• Logan Hurlburt, most outstanding player;
• Kael Smith, most outstanding lineman;
• Seth Ohlheiser, most outstanding teammate.
The Travis Malchow Award, given to players who came through minor football and played high school football, was presented to Syler Sabey, Kael Smith and Seth Ohlheiser.
