By Rob Vogt
The Claresholm RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspicious person who has been approaching youth in the community.
On May 11, the RCMP issued a release asking the public’s help with any information regarding several suspicious person reports about an older white male possibly 40 to 50 years old, thin build with short grey hair and multiple arm tattoos who has approached youth asking if they could help him in exchange for $20.
The suspect male has approached the youths in his vehicle.
Descriptions of the vehicle have been varied from a silver/black SUV (jeep) with a red bicycle attached to the back of it, to a silver sedan.

Claresholm residents are asked to be on the lookout for anyone matching these descriptions and are reminded to ensure their children are aware of the dangers of talking with strangers and how to react if approached by someone they do not know.
At this point the Claresholm RCMP are wishing to get further information or talk with the male suspect regarding these matters.
If any individuals or businesses have any information or video footage that may show the suspect, they are asked to please contact the Claresholm RCMP at 403-625-4445.
