Marlene enjoyed being busy and loved socializing so when opportunity arose she trained as a nursing aid and attended nursing school in Medicine Hat. She had an outgoing personality, and she was an excellent fit for any job, her love for sport carried on for many years as she continued to play baseball and pickleball.
Marlene always enjoyed country living and had the opportunity to live in Okotoks, Chestermere, Priddis, and Claresholm for the past 15 years. She enjoyed travelling to her second home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, for the last 15 years. There she enjoyed the warmth of the sunshine, attending car shows and reading a good novel.
