Operation Christmas Child
Grade 3 students, and teachers at West Meadow Elementary School packed 48 shoe boxes of school supplies, toiletries, and much more for Operation Christmas Child as their service project for social studies. Photo by Rob Vogt
The boxes are then shipped to children in need around the world. Donations came from the entire school, and were then sorted and items chosen for each shoe box by the Grade 3 students. “They learn about being global citizens,” said teacher Esther McDowell.
