Heppell, Brenda (Bean)

Feb 25 1959 – June 17, 2020
It’s with heavy hearts we must announce the passing of Brenda our beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Brenda grew up on the family farm West of Barons, firstborn child to Glen and Marlene Hobbs. She spoke often of her horse, King. Brenda spent her whole life in the Barons area where she raised her family with her husband of almost 40 years, Peter. Brenda had a passion for hair-dressing and was the go-to stylist for many of her friends and family. She worked for many years as a health-care aid where she lovingly took care of the elderly, a job that brought her much joy and fulfilment. Brenda was the proudest Grandma you ever met, she loved her grand-babies so much. When she was missing them she would say she could not wait to get a “fix” of them. Brenda had a laugh that everyone knew and loved. It could often be heard from the Barons curling rink windows, as curling was a favorite pastime. She had her own move called the “Heppell Special”. Brenda always had open arms and loved you no matter who you were or where you came from. She was always there to help when someone was in need. She was passionate in all of the things she did and stood firmly behind her beliefs. Brenda brought joy to so many peoples lives and will be dearly missed by all that knew her. She will never be forgotten.
Brenda was pre-deceased by her father Glen, her sister Patricia, her grandparents Emile and Florence and Rex and Gladys.
She is survived by her loving husband Peter, her mother Marlene, her daughters Renee (Steve), Charidy (Zane) and Donna (Logan), her grandchildren Tristan, Stevie, Declan, Cooper, Kade, Aria and Callum, her brother Donald (Petrina), as well as many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
