High winds, up to 140 km/hr, wreaked havoc in Claresholm on Friday, January 31, 2020 and the early hours of Saturday, February 1, 2020. Unexpected items were found on the front lawns of two homes on 8th Street West, and many trampolines were displaced throughout the community.
