By Rob Vogt, Local Press Writer

The Claresholm RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a recent hit and run.

The police are investigating a hit and run that took place at the Christ the King Roman Catholic Church parking lot on Wednesday, Feb. 20, between approximately 1:45 p.m. and 2:45 p.m.

A Red Honda Odyssey was damaged when an unknown vehicle, possibly white in colour, scraped the front driver-side of the Honda leaving a dent and scratch marks.

Police said it appeared the culprit, feeling remorse, tried to wipe the scratches off with a pair of gloves, however the damage remained.

No note was left and no one came to the church or the RCMP to report that incident.

If you have information pertaining to this investigation, please contact the Claresholm RCMP at 403-625-4445.
