Three to run for vacant council seat

Three candidates have filed their nomination papers to run for the vacant seat on Claresholm town council.

Nomination day was Sept. 17, and when the deadline passed, three candidates came forward (listed in alphabetical order by last name):

Voters will go to the polls in the byelection scheduled for Oct. 15 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Claresholm Community Centre.

The advance poll takes place from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 11 at the community centre.
