Nanton-area bridge replaced

The Municipal District of Willow Creek has replaced a bridge southwest of Nanton.
At M.D. council’s Sept. 24 meeting, Craig Pittman, the M.D.’s director of infrastructure, discussed the project.
The bridge at the end of Basin Road southwest of Nanton was to be replaced.
Pittman said the project, budgeted for $501,400 from the Strategic Transportation Infrastructure Program and the municipal budget, is complete, with final reporting upcoming.
