RCMP seeking information on suspicious vehicle

The Claresholm RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a possible suspect and vehicle.
The police issued a statement on April 10 explaining that between 9 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, a white van approached a female youth along Eighth Street West between Derochie Drive and Saskatchewan Crescent in Claresholm.
The female youth was out for a run during a school event when a male driver offered the female youth a ride.
The female refused, but the male driver persisted, eventually being scared off at the threat of the female youth obtaining his licence plate. The male then left the area heading southbound on Eighth Street West.
The male driver is described as being in his 50s with short grey hair and a medium grey beard.
The features of his face were covered with a black face mask, and he was operating a white van, possibly a white Dodge Caravan.
