December 26, 1956 – December 19, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bent (Bentley) Hansen Frisk, born December 26, 1956 in Lavensby, Denmark. Bent passed away December 19, 2021 in his home in Hazelton, BC.
He was raised in Stavely, Alberta by his parents Soren and Ebba Frisk, alongside his younger sister Lis and brother Steve. Bent will be greatly missed by his family.
He left behind three adult children: Ryan (Midori), Cyra (Dar), and Errol (Lisa); grandchildren Auralia and Alexander, Ailsa and Fionnuala and Ella and Emmet. He also left his sister Lis (Dennis) Gillespie; nephews Trevor (Holly) and Clayton (Amy); great nephews Carlo and Lewis; and great nieces Eila and Wynne. Bent will also be missed by sister-in-law Cindy Frisk and her daughter Camryn. His mother Ebba will miss his weekly chats and many jokes.
He is predeceased by his father Soren Frisk and younger brother Steve Frisk.
Bent was known for his sense of humour, his love of fun and his rather large mustache. What was most remarkable about Bent was the way he was unapologetically himself throughout his life. He will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, COVID restrictions permitting.
