Nanton School Enhancement Committee halfway to fundraising goal

By Rob Vogt
The Nanton School Enhancement Committee is halfway to its fundraising goal, and it still has two years remaining to reach it.
The committee recently announced on social media, “We are almost half way to our first fundraising goal of $690,000!
“As of March 23 we are at $340,488.74.
“This is all thanks to the Nanton and supporting communities. We are so lucky to live in this great community!”
A new elementary school is part of the Nanton Schools Project that includes a modernized high school.
The funds being raised are to enhance the learning commons at the new elementary school.
The next fundraising event is the third annual Cornhole Tournament to be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026.
Registration will be open at the beginning of May.
If anyone is unable to attend, but would still like to support the Nanton School Enhancement Committee, they can sponsor a lane.
Lane sponsorships are $100 and include their name displayed on the lane and in the information package.
If anyone is interested in supporting the event, please send them a message on Facebook at their “Nanton School Enhancement Committee” page or email nantonschoolenhancement@gmail.com (no dashes or spaces.
At this time, the project completion date for both the new elementary and modernized high school is summer 2027.
