Le Borgne, Eric Robert

With broken hearts we announce the passing of Eric Robert Le Borgne of Claresholm, AB on June 10, 2026.  He was only 55 years of age.
Eric was born on May 27, 1971, in Lethbridge, AB to parents Robert and Denise.  On July 19, 2003, he married his soulmate, Christine, and together they built a life grounded in love, partnership, and family.
Eric was a true mechanic at heart.  He was a talented heavy-duty mechanic who could fix just about anything and a respected service manager.  Outside of work, Eric had a special fondness for old trucks, especially first-generation Dodges and square bodies.  He also found joy in horses and was a great rider. As a member of the Stavely Elks, Eric valued community and connection, even though he preferred to stay out of the spotlight.  He was a quiet, kind, and helpful person—someone you could always count on.  Being incredibly strong, both in body and character, Eric never hesitated to lend a hand when it was needed.  Those who knew him will remember his dry sense of humour, his talent for giving unforgettable nicknames, and his remarkable memory—he truly never forgot a thing.  Eric didn’t seek attention, but he left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Above all else, Eric was an amazing husband, a dedicated father, and a loyal friend.  His steady presence, quiet strength, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.  He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and love that will continue on through the many lives he touched.
Left to mourn his passing and celebrate his life is his wife, Christine Le Borgne; his son, Cooper; his daughter, Riley; his mother, Denise; his sisters, Joan (Raymond) Cherniak and Diane (Greg) Smith; his niece, Kimberly (David) and family; his nephew, Cameron (Jenn) and family; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; his best friends, Steve Cochlan and Doug (Marci) DeLisle; as well as countless others who were fortunate enough to call him friend.
He was predeceased by his father, Robert Le Borgne.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at the Stavely Community Centre (5190 – 52 St. Stavely, AB T0L 1Z0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be gratefully accepted by One Broken Biker (www.onebrokenbiker.org).
