In case of emergency

The Town of Claresholm staff did a functional training exercise on Wednesday, Oct. 28 to test their procedures during a town-wide emergency. The scenario was a semi-truck hauling fuel catches on fire then, when it pulls over to the side of the road, sinks and flips over causing a massive leak with fuel getting into the stormwater system. Fuel then goes all the way to the golf course causing an environmental disaster. The town office was closed as all staff were involved in the exercise.
