June 11, 1954 – December 14, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ronald Robert McEwen on December 14, 2023 at the Claresholm Hospital.
Ron was born June 11, 1954 in Lac La Biche. He retired from the City of Calgary after 38 years of service and moved to Claresholm with Cheryl to enjoy their retirement. He was a down to earth person who would always lend a hand and raise the spirits of those around him.
His memory will be cherished by his loving wife Cheryl, his sons Robert and Mitchell and his sister Lucille. Ron was a great husband, father and friend. His love, humour and creativity will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace and in the memories of those that knew him.
There will be no formal service at this time.
