Kinettes seeking new members

By Rob Vogt
Have you ever taken in the annual Christmas craft fair down at the Claresholm Community Centre in November?
How about the Walk ‘n Roll for cystic fibrosis in Centennial Park and around town in June?
Those are just two of the events put on by the Kinette Club of Claresholm, a service club made up of community-minded volunteers.
Breanna Seeman, president of the Kinettes, said members like to invest back into the community with the events they put on, and would like to do more.
“We need more people to do that,” she said.
The Kinettes meet monthly, generally the first Monday of each month, but that is subject to change.
Seeman encourages everyone to check out the Kinettes.
It is a chance to meet people and enjoy fellowship and contribute to the community.
That’s why Seeman is a member.
“I was born and raised in Claresholm,” she said. “I love the town and I love giving back.”

The Kinettes are also holding an open house on Monday, April 22 at 7:30 p.m. in the north hall of the Claresholm Community Centre, where people can meet the members and find out more about what they do.
