September 11, 1939 – April 27, 2023

Born Sept 11, 1939, William Neil Gelowitz passed away peacefully and surrounded by his family on Thursday, April 27th, 2023 in Claresholm, Alberta, at the age of 83.
Bill was born in Pierceland, Saskatchewan to his parents Dan and Josephine, and leaves behind his eight brothers, his four sisters, and their families.  He is survived by his beloved wife Arlene and his four children, Joan (Stan), Debbie (Andrew), Chris (Shannon), Dan (Jennifer) and their families.
Bill graduated from the University of Saskatchewan where he also met Arlene.  He started his career as a teacher and then spent many years as a successful businessman in Claresholm.
Bill loved singing, golfing, camping, reading, fishing, cruising and travelling the world.  He loved life and lived it to the fullest.  Bill was a loving, generous and kind-hearted man, and although he was a very honest man, he cheated death several times!
Bill will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew him.
