Stavely Pro Rodeo draws a crowd

The 64th edition of the Stavely Indoor Rodeo was back outdoors for the second year in a row and drew a good crowd, despite the threat of rain on Friday night.
The rodeo took place on the lands east of the Stavely Arena on June 17, 18, and 19, and the winners were:
Ladies breakaway roping
• First, Aubrey Ross, Both, 2.38 seconds;
• Second, Brooke Auclair, Bezanson, 2.43 seconds;
• Third, Taylor Flewelling, Lacombe, 2.51 seconds.
Ladies barrel race
• First, Jennifer Neudorf, Grande Prairie, 15.27 seconds;
• Second, Diane Scocdopole, Big Valley, 15.33 seconds;
• Third, Bradi Whiteside, Longview, 15.47 seconds.
Saddle bronc riding
• First, Lachlan Miller, Warwick, Australia, 83 points;
• Second, Dawson Dahm, Duffield, 79 points;
• Third, Tyrel Roberts, Charlie Lake, B.C.; and Brodie Roessler, Fairview, 77.5 points.
Bull riding
• First, Tanner Eno, Coronation; Edgar Durazo, Moctezuma, Sonora, Mexico; and Wyatt Gleeson, Sundre, 85.5 points.
Team roping
• First, Cole Davison, Stephenville, Texas, and Kolton Schmidt, Barrhead, 4.1 seconds;
• Second, Brody and Logan Groves, Czar, 5.0 seconds;
• Third, Bobby Louis, Vernon, B.C., and Daniel Kaiser, Breton, 5.3 seconds.
Steer riding
• First, Lucas Ozirney, Grenfell, Saskatchewan, 74.5 points;
• Second, Grady Ruecker, Worsley, 73 points;
• Third, Glen Erickson, Sundre, 72 points.
Steer wrestling
