MAY 20, 1940 / DECEMBER 16, 2021
Unassuming, loving, caring, kind: with a faith as great as the Heavens. Brave life- warrior, she fought her illness hard as she was able. Joycie passed peacefully in my arms at Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre December 16th, 2021. I was blessed to have had this time with my bride of 61 years.
The horns were sounding sweet melodies of Jesus’s love as she was welcomed home. There she will heal in the arms of Jesus and be whole once gain.
Left behind are her sons: Michael (Sara), Peter (Cindy), AJ (Natacha); Grandchildren Maddison, Damien, Jordyn.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate Joycie and share our/your memories. The date and place will be announced at a later time.
With grateful hearts we thank our helpers throughout this past year: Pastor Donna Alm and our Church community; the entire HomeCare Team who helped to lighten my load, Doctors Jones, Smith, Welke and the team at Claresholm General Hospital (especially Carmen, who leads by example); and the constant, compassionate caring staff at WCCCC. I remember many names; faces nearly obliterated by required masking. I recognize especially these frontline caregivers and appreciate each and everyone with a love that only God knows.
Blessings to you all and thank you from myself and our family.
Peace be with you.
