Lighting up the sky

It is a show that is well known across Southern Alberta. Granum’s annual Canada Day fireworks display on the evening of July 1 did not disappoint as it lit up the sky for a Canada Day like no other. After the past year and a half when health restrictions have been in place limiting public gatherings to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, Canada Day was also when the provincial government announced virtually all health restrictions were being lifted. With people having been cooped up for over a year, and no fireworks last year, this year’s show attracted visitors from across Southern Alberta. Photos submitted by Rick Brunner
