RCMP warns of suspicious person

The Claresholm RCMP are warning of a suspicious person in the area.On Saturday, Oct. 24 at approximately 5:35 p.m., Claresholm RCMP were advised that an eight-year-old girl was playing in the snow with friends outside of her house in Claresholm when a silver SUV (which looks like a newer Durango) stopped, opened his door and was trying to convince the victim to come talk to him.This little girl did not recognize this man, she ran into her house, and told her parents.The SUV drove away, and no licence plate number was seen.The description of the driver is a white male wearing a black COVID-19 mask and baseball cap. The colour is unknown.This incident was also confirmed by the home video surveillance system, and patrols for the vehicle were negative.
