The Willow Creek Composite High School golf team took third place at the recent Alberta Schools Athletic Association 1A/2A South Zone championships.
The Cobras, with Coach Malik Salman, travelled to Vulcan on Wednesday, Sept. 11 where they turned in the following scores:
• George Wollersheim, 78;
• Mike Billyard, 100;
• Cade Patterson, 101;
• Brenndon Mackin, 102.
The scores earned Claresholm third place.
Unfortunately, only the top two teams qualified for provincials in Red Deer on Sept. 23 and 24.
