Stavely Amateur Rodeo wows the crowd again

It was another action-packed night at the StavelyArena on Saturday night for riding, roping and much more.The 57th annual Stavely Amateur Rodeo took over the arena on Aug. 25, featuring something for all ages.When the dust settled, the winners were:

Barrel racing, eight years of age and under

  • Sadie Keeley.

Barrel racing, nine to 14 years of age

  • Genessie Williams.

Ladies’ barrel racing 15 years of age and up

  • Karly McLean.

Steer riding

  • Marshall Williams.

Pole bending, nine years of age and under

  • Sadie Keeley.

Pole bending, 10 to 16 years of age

  • Genessie Williams.

Pig scramble, eight years of age and under

  • Ty McLean.

Pig scramble, nine to 12 years of age

  • Madison Mott.

Sheep dressing, 12 years of age and under

  • Kilee Lange, Janell Lange, and Ayla Broomfield.

Adult/child team roping

  • Kirk Phillips and Shelby Kingsmith.

Team roping, open

  • No qualified times.

Cow riding

  • Leighton McNain.

Hide race

  • Karly McLean and Mandy Cyr.
