Beware of light thieves

There have been some thefts of outdoor Christmas lights, so people are being encouraged to be on the lookout for suspicious behaviour.

In particular, there was a theft of some projection lights over this past weekend, Dec. 15 or 16 on the east side of town on 2A Street and 54th Avenue.

The thieves not only took the projector, but the lights, timer and extension chord.

RCMP recover walker

If you have lost a walker, it may have been recovered by the Claresholm RCMP.

On Dec. 13, the police had a Nexus walker turned in to them.

The walker was found on the side of Highway 2 north of town.

If you are the owner, or if you know the owner,  the RCMP are requesting that you attend or call the detachment and provide a description or serial number of the walker.
