August 19, 1955 – July 28, 2018

NEW GLASGOW – Allan Peter “Allie” Keough, 62, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at home.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late Austin Jerome and Olive Marea (Higgins) Keough. Allan was employed as an electrician with the Canadian National Railroad and D.E. Sheehan in earlier years. He enjoyed listening to music, hear and telling a good joke, tinkering with electronics, reading the newspaper and socializing with family and friends. Allan was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow.
Surviving are sisters, Margie (Bill) Morkin, Cathy (Ross) Dahl, Patsy Severtson, all of Claresholm, Alta.; Sharon (Lyndon) Anderson, Lower Sackville; brothers, Charlie (Lee), New Glasgow; John (Stephanie), Claresholm; Wayne, Lady Smith, B.C.; brother-in-law, Roy Lawrence, White Hill; many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Theresa Lawrence.
In honour of Allan’s wishes, a public graveside service was held Thursday, August 2, 2018 in Holy Cross Cemetery, New Glasgow with Father Thomas MacNeil presiding.
