Peewee Thunder hockey team drops pair

It was a tough weekend of hockey for the Claresholm Peewee Thunder who dropped a pair of games. The Thunder hosted Sundre on Saturday, Dec. 2 at the Claresholm Arena, losing by a score of 7-4. Claresholm led 2-1 after the first period, but trailed 5-3 after two periods, before losing. Scoring for the Thunder were Zakary Wright, assisted by Nate Wright and Owen Stewart; Nate Wright, on the power play, from Zakary Wright and Tyrel Gertner; Zakary Wright, assisted by Jaxon Auld and Cheyenne Symens; and Clayton Van Langen, unassisted. A day earlier, Dec. 1, Claresholm visited Olds and lost a 5-0 game.
