May 9, 1946 – April 24, 2025
The family of Don shares the sad news of his passing April 24, 2025 while on vacation in Hawaii, while surrounded by all of his immediate family.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marlane, their children Dale and Paige (Kelly); and grandchildren Dayson, River, Landry and Daxton. As well as sisters Marvia Hickle & Myrna Fedorus and numerous nieces and nephews. 
Don was well known for his one liners, great storytelling and fun sense of humour, often leaving everyone laughing, including himself, which is one thing we will greatly miss.
Don was a heavy equipment operator for over 50 years, which he loved and excelled at. 
Throughout his life, rain or shine, you could find Don in the roping arena where his son Dale attributes much of his own success, and that of many others, to Don’s great knowledge and mentorship of the sport. He would often say, “Do as I say, not as I do.”
On the farm, Don was extremely creative and meticulous with his creations and attention to detail, always finding a solution to any problem.
As per Don’s request there will be no funeral service. Family will hold a private gathering at the family farm.
