With the warmer weather approaching and the increase of local and non-local traffic, the Claresholm RCMP would also like to take this time to advise and remind the motoring public of some traffic concerns that have been brought to our attention from some of the community leaders as well as the public at large.
Concerns have been raised about improperly stopping, or lack thereof, at stop signs and speeding in school zones, both in Claresholm and Stavely.
The Claresholm RCMP will be focusing on these issues in the upcoming months as well as targeting the non-use of seatbelts on top of the usual traffic enforcement that will be conducted by the members. Please be mindful of the posted speed limits within the communities as well as the wearing of seatbelts and obeying all other rules of the road.
