Willow Creek 4-H District holds achievement day at Agriplex

The 4-H beef clubs in Claresholm, Stavely/Parkland, and Fort Macleod held their district lamb and steer shows at the Claresholm Agriplex on Tuesday, June 6.
The final results were:
Lamb show
• Willow Creek District market lamb grand champion, Paisley Barrett, Claresholm; reserve grand champion, Taylor McNab, Fort Macleod.
• Willow Creek District Pen of five lambs grand champion, Stavely/Parkland; reserve grand champion, Claresholm.

Lauren White of the Claresholm 4-H Beef Club won Willow Creek District senior showmanship grand champion with her Black Angus-Simmental cross project, named Dunn. Her mother, Jeanne White poses with the trophy as Lauren manages her steer. Her brother, Charles, presented the last of his 4-H projects after 11 years in 4-H with his steer, named Brooks.
