It is with great sadness the (Bexte) Rush family announces the passing of Holly D. Rush in her home surrounded by loved ones October 30, 2020.
Holly D. Rush is survived by her devoted and loving husband Roger Rush; her three daughters Nicole (Dustin) Jewett, Natasha Rush, Michelle (Alfie) Hieb; Grandchildren: Carissa Jewett, Kayla Jewett, Braiden Rush, Breanna Rush, Conner Hieb, and Sadie Hieb. She was predeceased by her parents Adolf Bexte, and Dorothy (Lemely) Bexte.
She is also survived by siblings: Cindy Haslam (Dave Bruce), Joseph (Kathy) Bexte, Lynn (Stewart) Surman; nieces and nephews: Carl (Mel) Kittleson, Kevin (Sianne) Kittleson, Barry (Laurie) Kittleson, Stacy Katish, Mike (Kirby) Rabbit-Carrier, and Keiren Leadbeater; along with many cherished great nieces and nephews on the Bexte side; sister-in-law Ramona (Mark) Robinson; nieces and nephews: Kelsey Robinson; Ryan (Andrea) Robinson, Derek (Sandra) Rush, Mitchell Rush, Hudson Rush, Dean Rush, Warren Rush, Shane (Anna) Rush, Clinton (Amanda) Rush, Miranda Rush, and Braiden Rush; great nephew: Colton Robinson; plus many amazing aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Holly was well known for her gentle heart, sense of humor and infectious laugh. She has touched the hearts of many, especially in her field of work as an Health Care Aide, starting her career at the Willow Creek Auxiliary Hospital, then working for I.C.E, Cottonwood Village, and recently at the Silver Willow Lodge in Nanton, AB. She has made so many friends and cared so deeply about her residents and colleagues considering them all family.
Holly’s joys and hobbies included hunting, camping, family gatherings. Family reunions were a true highlight with card playing, horseshoes, and shenanigans.
Holly also dreamed of world travel, Germany was top of her list. She was fortunate enough to go to Newfoundland with her Amigos (Connie Hubka and Gloria Power).
Heaven has gained a true angel and we only part to meet again. We love you to the moon and back, and you will always be in our hearts.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alberta cancer foundation, colorectal cancer at Jack Ady cancer centre. website www.Albertacancer.ca
