April 14, 1956 – February 23, 2020

Twyla Dare Andrews was born to Ruby and Dick Andrews on a sunny spring day in Claresholm. Twyla grew up on the ranch west of Claresholm and when she reached school age the family moved to town. University of Calgary is where she received her social work degree and continued in that field of work at the Peter Lougheed hospital in Calgary.
Twyla enjoyed music concerts especially the Calgary Coke Stage during Stampede week. Road trips to Penticton, BC for summer retreats and relaxing on the beach were her travelling adventures as a youth. Companion kitty “Elsa” kept Twyla entertained and a part of the family.
Twyla is fondly remembered by Andrews and Markle cousins and friend Karin, her concert going buddies and colleagues at the Lougheed social work department.
No funeral as per Twyla’s request. She will be honoured with a private family interment to follow at the Claresholm Cemetery.
