1936 – 2026
The family of Peggy (Gramsie) Baptie is celebrating her life. Peggy passed away October 18, 2026, surrounded by love. 
Margaret Ann Madill was born July 12, 1936. Life brought her to Calgary, Alberta where she met Bob Baptie. The two married in 1959 and settled in Cochrane where they had Kathy, David, and Anne. In 1991, Peggy and Bob moved to Claresholm.
Mom enjoyed gardening, golfing and coffee with the girls. Mom lived life with a spirit that was all her own. She loved being a Gramsie. 
Peggy was predeceased by Bob in 2022.
Peggy is remembered by her brother Mike (Terri) Madill, children Kathy (Brian) Hipkin, David (Monica) Baptie, Anne (Sean) McCrady; grandchildren Kelsey (Rochelle) Hipkin, Amy (Reid) Teetaert, Colton, Jordan, and Caden Baptie, and Sarah and Melissa McCrady; and great grandchildren Kinley, Weston, Rex, Hazel, and George
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. at Zentner Funeral Homes – 4079 1st Street W, Claresholm, AB.
