October 17, 1944 ~ November 4, 2023

It is with heavy hearts and great love we say goodbye to Gloria Hartfelder – wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. On Saturday, November 4, 2023 Mrs. Gloria Hartfelder passed away at the age of 79 at the Claresholm General Hospital.
Gloria is survived by her husband of 64 years Ruben, her children: Cheryl Hartfelder (Rolly) of Calgary, Sonya (Lee) Nelson of Stavely, Dan Hartfelder (Marilyn) of Claresholm; brother Dale, sister Darlene; seven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her son Andy, brother Brian, grandson Ryley, parents Halvor and Lillian Myrhaugen.
Gloria was born October 17, 1944 in Edmonton, AB. She married Ruben July 18, 1959. They moved to Claresholm in 1961 and this is where they resided and raised their family. Gloria stayed at home to raise the family. She took care of other children, enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, and knitting. She was very crafty and enjoyed making things for her grandchildren. She worked for Randall Trailers and for the Alberta Liquor Board for a brief time. She went back to school and obtained her hairdressing license. Gloria’s infectious laugh, kind smile, and loving heart will forever be missed.
