It is with sadness we are writing to announce the passing of Colin Andrew Chandler at Claresholm, Alberta on July 28, 2020.
Colin grew up in Calgary. As a young man, he was a talented athlete and artist. He was a natural acrobat who could do handsprings and climb anything. He was also very mechanically minded, able to fix things, and solve problems. It’s not surprising that he found friends and a community to call home in Claresholm. He loved the outdoors and work that required him to use his combination of strength and smarts. Loyal and dependable, he enjoyed working at Claresholm Rentals where he used all his natural abilities. He was so hardworking that his colleagues nicknamed him Taz because he worked like a Tasmanian devil. He was friendly with a tough, yet gentle spirit. He lived his life with integrity and a healthy dose of good cheer.
Colin will be dearly missed by his great friends Ron and Sherry Hesleton as well as his parents Margaret and Colin and siblings Margaret Rose, Simon, and Siobhan. Goodbye Colin. We will carry our memories of you in our hearts.
