RCMP make arrests for stolen property, drugs, outstanding warrants

The Claresholm RCMP have laid several arrests after a Christmas day investigation uncovered stolen property, drugs, and outstanding warrants.
On Dec. 25, 2018, the Claresholm RCMP were made aware of a stolen vehicle from Okotoks that was equipped with GPS tracking. It was located at a residence in Claresholm. Police then tracked the suspects to a second location within Claresholm.
A search warrant was conducted on a house in Claresholm, where drugs, stolen property, stolen identifications and weapons were located.
Four males and one female were arrested. A total of 45 new charges were laid, plus warrants for arrest on these individuals where they will be facing an additional 27 charges from other jurisdictions.
A total of 24 of these additional charges are against Michael Wayne Bolt, 40, of Claresholm who was charged with:
- One count of possession of methamphetamine;
- Four counts of stolen property and identification;
- Two counts of possession of weapons dangerous to the public;
- One count of personation;
- Four counts of breach of probation;
- Three counts of breach of recognizance.
Cameron Douglas Clark, 40, of Claresholm was charged with:
- One count of possession of methamphetamine;
- Four counts of stolen property and identification;
- Two counts of possession of weapons dangerous to the public;
- Two counts of breach of recognizance.
Cole Stuart McLean, 30, of no fixed address was charged with:
- One count of possession of methamphetamine;
- Five counts of stolen property and identification;
- Four counts of possession of weapons dangerous to the public.
Natasha Bekker, 27, of Calgary was charged with:
- Two counts possession of methamphetamine;
- Four counts of stolen property and identification;
- Two counts of possession of weapons dangerous to the public.
Jason Donald Turner, 35, was charged with:
- One count of possession of stolen property;
- One count of possession of methamphetamine;
- One count of breach of probation.
Bolt, Clark and McLean were remanded to appear on Jan. 2, 2019, while Turner and Bekker were released to appear Jan. 9, 2019, all in Fort Macleod Provincial Court.
