September 18, 1952 – August 26, 2018

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Steven at the Chinook Hospice, Calgary, AB on Sunday, August 26, 2018.

Steven is survived by his daughters Stacey (Blair) Kingston, grandsons Alex and Andrew of Fort Saskatchewan, AB and Robyn (Darcy) Gloer of Calgary, AB. He is also survived by his partner Carol Crosbie; mother Joyce Bishop of Claresholm, AB; brothers David Bishop of Milk River, AB; Grant (Barb) Bishop of Claresholm and several nieces and nephews.

Steve moved to Claresholm with his family in 1967. He graduated from WCCHS, worked at Claresholm Care Centre for several years then moved into the airline industry. After taking early retirement he took a job he loved — driving a school bus in Calgary. Although Steve worked in the airline industry, he was an avid model train collector for 25 years. He loved to garden and commune with nature at his RV west of Sundre, AB.

At Steve’s request, no funeral service, but cremation with a small, private family service will be held.
