Major donation

The Claresholm Lions Club has provided a $25,000 donation for renovations to the Claresholm Arena. The Claresholm Minor Hockey Association has applied for a matching Community Facilities Enhancement Program grant to replace to ice slab/ boards and skate friendly flooring in the arena. Contributions from the CMHA, Municipal District of Willow Creek, Town of Claresholm, Claresholm Lions, many local businesses and individuals as well as labour and equipment donated in kind make up more than half the anticipated cost of the project.
