Harvey Allen Dippel passed away peacefully at home in Claresholm on March 10, 2019 at the age of 77 years.
Harvey was born in Calgary on March 10, 1942. His fondest memories were of the years he lived on his ranch west of Cochrane in the Ghost Dam area. Harvey loved thoroughbred horses and travelled the racing circuit in the 70s and 80s. He worked for Leo Brown Contracting in Cochrane for many years after which he retired to Claresholm where he made his home for the last 12 years.
Harvey was predeceased by his parents John and Irene Dippel in Calgary and will be missed by his good friends John & Yvonne and Sunny, her husband Ash and their two boys Sean and Jonathan.
A visitation will be held for friends, prior to cremation, at the Cochrane Country Funeral Home, # 6 Sundance Mall, 402 Railway Street West, Cochrane, AB on Monday, March 25, 2019 between 3 and 5 pm.
