Priestley, Kenneth Charles

Ken was born on October 25, 1951; in Vancouver, BC. He lived in Vancouver until he was 11 years old and then the family moved to Coquitlam, BC. From there Ken moved, as a young adult, to Pitt Meadows, BC and finally to Claresholm, AB 12 years ago.
He studied Art for a few years and then went to Alaska to work on laying the Bennett Rail Line.
When he returned to BC Ken studied hard and became a Millwright.
Ken worked for Flavell Cedar in Coquitlam, most of his adult life, until it was sold.
Ken then worked a few years for Dynamic Logistics, where he worked on many interesting projects, among them the refurbishing of Disney’s monorails.
Ken’s passion was to tinker on Millwright projects and classic cars – particularly his ‘66 Ford Mustang and his ‘66 Mercury Caliente. He enjoyed the camaraderie working with his fellow PHCC friends on the cars.
Ken is predeceased by his mother Marguerite Pajor/Priestley, father Murray Nolan, and step-father Ralph Priestley.
Ken leaves behind his life’s partner of 31 years, Patricia (Stadel), half sister Lynda (Dale Turner), and half brother Kevin (Priestley), as well as a nephew, niece, two great nieces, one great nephew, one great great niece and one great great nephew.
He and his wry sense of humor will be missed!
