On Friday, January 12, 2024, we said a heartfelt farewell to the beloved Bernadette Louise Haynes of Stavely, Alberta, who peacefully passed away surrounded by her adoring family at the age of 75 in Claresholm, Alberta. Bernadette’s journey was one of strength and resilience, enduring health complications for over 15 years. Now, she has found tranquility, free from pain. Her memory will forever be adorned with the image of her kind heart, radiant smile, and nurturing soul, leaving an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. A dedicated worker, she dedicated over 20 years to the Willow Creek Auxiliary in Claresholm, showcasing her unwavering commitment. In our hearts, Bernadette remains a cherished monarch whose presence was a source of warmth and love. Her absence leaves an irreplaceable void. She leaves behind a legacy of love, and is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 58 years, Fred Haynes of Stavely, Alberta; her three daughters, Vivian Haynes (Terry Anthony), Charlene Molenaar (Terry Molenaar), and Leann Heitrich (Tracey Heitrich); and Bernadette’s 7 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren will forever carry the torch of her love.
To honor her memory, A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer amidst Bernadette’s enchanting flower garden—a fitting tribute to a life well-lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Claresholm Hospital at 221 43 Avenue W, Claresholm, Alberta, T0L 0T0, a gesture that reflects Bernadette’s enduring spirit of compassion and care.
