“She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. She walked with the universe on her shoulders and made it look like a pair of wings.”
~ Ariana Dancu
It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of a warrior. Linda left us after two cancer battles: she faced both her fight and her death with courage and conviction.
Linda was excited to join her husband of 49 years, Don Campbell, in the next world. Her daughter Carol Thompson (Campbell) and her grand-children, Kase and Anna Thompson miss her soft hands, giving spirit, and her warm hugs. Her dog, Shadow, also mourns her immensely.
Linda was a woman of incredible integrity and work ethic. She was a gardener, a quilter, a baker, and a lover of animals and children. She was always busy but she always had time for anyone who needed her. Linda’s ashes will be spread in a private ceremony in her favourite place with her favourite songs and her favourite people: her immediate family.
