It is with great sadness that the family of Monica Johansson announce her passing.
Monica will be sadly missed, and lovingly remembered by her daughter Gita (Russ), son Jan, grandchildren Eric, Amy, Annica, Robin, David; six great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Thore; parents; four brothers and one sister.
Monica was born in Stockholm, Sweden where Monica and Thore raised their family.
They immigrated to western Canada in 1982, living in Revelstoke and Osoyoos, BC before moving to Millet, AB. In 2016 Monica moved to Claresholm to be closer to family.
Monica will be remembered for her love of life, her joy, her energy, her humour, her beauty and her love of loud music in fast cars!
