Ruby Amundsen passed away on May 26 at her home in Lacombe. She was proud to have achieved the age of 95 years. Ruby was born in Ontario and came to Claresholm when her husband Owen decided to return to the farm in 1952. She lived a long life as a reluctant farm wife, an involved community member and especially a mom. She was involved in her Church, Girl Guiding, her Sewing Club and enjoyed bowling, curling and the community choir but her family was the centre of her life. She was mother to Doug, Barb and Ellen.
