It is with heavy hearts that we announced the passing of Ronald Gary Beaton, known as Gary all his life. He passed away peacefully at the Claresholm auxiliary on Saturday, March 21, 2026 after a two year illness at 79 years.
Gary was born on August 9, 1946 in Lethbridge AB to Maxine and Albert Beaton. He was raised alongside of his sister Connie Beaton Curle and later on his half brother Gordon Secretan. 
He married the love of his life Patricia Doubinin on August 23, 1986. They shared a life together for 34 years. Their life was filled with camping and fishing, lots of family time and many laughs. One of Gary‘s highlights was an Alaskan cruise that they enjoyed together. 
Gary is remembered by his sister Connie (Beaton) Curle, Niece Shannon (Curle) Liska, (Les) (Kelsey). Nephew Shane Curle (Bobbi-Jo) and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Gary worked for 34 years as a postal worker delivering mail in the city of Lethbridge, AB. He loved his job and the outdoors.
Gary was predeceased by his wife Patricia Doubinin, father Albert Beaton, stepfather Art Secretan, mother Maxine Secretan, brother Gordon Secretan, and nephew Dana Curle. 
At Gary‘s request there will be no formal funeral service and at a later date a burial in Stirling, AB cemetery. 
The family would like to thank the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre for their care and compassion during his final days.
