Annette Crone, Pamela

July 1, 1941 – December 27, 2025

It is with great sadness we say goodbye to our warm, caring, loving, and supportive Mother, Nanna and Great Nanna. Pam passed away peacefully with her family close on December 27, 2025 at the Claresholm General Hospital.
Pam was born in Grimsby, England to George and Doris Taylor. She grew up in Grimsby with a younger brother. Pam married William (Bill) Crone on July 18, 1961. They started their life together and family in Grimsby, England. In 1965 they immigrated to Canada starting their new lives in Montreal, Quebec and had 2 more children. Pam became a Canadian Citizen on October 1, 1970 and has always been a proud Canadian.
Pam and Bill enjoyed renovating houses and turning them into beautiful, warm and welcoming homes every place they lived from England, to Quebec, to Nova Scotia and then Alberta; where they finally to settled in Stavely.
Every place they lived Pam became involved in community organizations, from hospital boards, school boards, and seniors facilities volunteering many hours making a difference. Pam enjoyed time with family and friends and many pets, being outdoors in the garden, camping or just around the fire with family. She was a crafter with many talents, from making clothes for herself and us, needle point, knitting, and quilting. She also took great pride in decorating the many homes we grew up in.
Pam would always make time for her friends in times of need and was our family’s biggest supporter. Pam’s presence will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Pam is survived by her sons Robert (wife Angela), Andrew, and daughter Michelle. Grandchildren Samantha, Carter (Sil), Shae-Lynn, Shelby, Kailey (Curtis), Tyler and Great Grandson Asher.
Pam was predeceased by her parents George and Doris Taylor, brother Bernard Taylor, husband William, and two daughters Mandy and Wendy.
At Pam’s request, no funeral service will be held. A private gathering with family and scattering of ashes will be held at a later date.
In memory of Pam, donations can be made to the Stavely Community Chest, Claresholm Health Foundation or an animal rescue of your choice, in order to continue her legacy of doing kind things for others.
Mom, we love you, miss you and will carry you with us every day.
