Maureen Dunn beloved wife of Jack Dunn, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the age of 85 years.
Maureen was born and raised in Claresholm, AB. She enjoyed a lifelong career in psychiatric nursing.
She loved hosting, often having large parties for family and friends. Making everyone feel special, she brought an energy to every room and was captivating.
Maureen enjoyed an active lifestyle, she enjoyed hiking, burlesque, square and line dancing, fashion, shopping, gardening, and faced all challenges resolutely. She was honest, kind, strong and proud, with a great sense of humour, she showed off her braveness with her willingness to try anything.
Besides her loving husband Jack, Maureen is survived by her son David, daughter Shawn, her beloved granddaughter Ireland, and her nieces Faye, Cathy, and Patty. She was predeceased her parents Martha and Andy Gawn; and her sisters Martha and Anna.
