Howard Blaine Huddle passed away in Claresholm, AB. on Saturday May 18, 2024 at the age of 70 years.
Blaine was born in Claresholm, AB. on January 18, 1954. He was the second child of Howard (Lefty) and Gladys Huddle. Blaine received his early education at the Delia school and his junior and senior high school education in Claresholm.
Blaine’s first job was at Ted’s Foodmaster while he was in high school. He then worked for the Alberta Liqour Control Board for 20 years. He then worked for a few warehouse distributors in Calgary before moving back to Claresholm in 2005. His last job was in the transportation department at the Claresholm Center for Mental Health and Addiction. He retired at the age of 65.
Blaine spent many years in the great outdoors enjoying fishing, camping and golf with family and friends. He was an avid curler in his younger years in Delia, Calgary and Claresholm. He enjoyed many vacations in Palm Springs. He was allways available for a game of dice, porker or card games. His activities in the last few years included going to Las Vegas with family playing his favorite game Mayan Chief and trips to Union Bay for family celebrations and visits.
Blaine will be lovingly remembered by his siblings Brian (Diane) of Union Bay, BC., Lorna (Dale) of Claresholm, AB., Martha (Gord) of Vulcan, AB., Murray (Rhonda) of Linden, AB. He will also be missed by several nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces.
A Family Memorial service will be held at a later date.
