December 18, 1947 – April 25, 2024
On April 25, 2024, just after 7:00 p.m., Irene Gladstone slipped quietly away.
Right then, the world lost a bunch of things
Some of its happiness
Some of its welcoming friendliness
One if its better read minds
And an awful lot of its love for books
Irene’s passion for books will live on. She donated her books and bookshelves to the Cottonwood Facility for a north wing library and left her entire estate to the Claresholm Public Library.
Irene did not want a memorial with eulogy nor anything like that, but was okay with a quiet remembering.
